There are several ways to share your flipbooks, but email is probably the most popular one. Whether you have a newsletter or a contact list, sending your publication as a flipbook will always take that extra important mile to impress your audience and engage with interactivity.

Sometimes, people ask us how to add the flipbook embedded in the email directly, but sadly, that's not possible the same way it's not possible to embed a youtube video or a form.

Email marketing tools such as MailChimp or others can be misleading because they show the email editor on the web and may give the impression that the embed codes will work, but they do not. At the time the email is sent it will not appear. This is simply because emails do not support interactive embedded content.

But no worries, there are two other good alternatives:

Add the gif or cover image with a CTA

Adding the cover and a link to your online flipbook is the best option, your reader will always view the last updated version when you fix something after you sent it, and you can be sure it will work on every device and platform.

Sharing a flipbook by email is very easy:

Step 1: Click on the flipbook on your dashboard and "Share":

Step 2: Click on "Email" at the top of the screen and select the thumbnail design you want to use using the left buttons.

Step 3: Copy the image to the clipboard with the "Copy image with link" button.

Step 4: Go to your email application and paste it.

Add the flipbook attached to the email

Another option is to add the downloaded flipbook attached to the email. The advantage is that once downloaded, your reader will be able to open it offline without a network connection. Another advantage is it gives a sense of ownership because a link may not work in the future, but they can keep the file as long as they want.

The process is very easy again:

Step 1: Click the flipbook on your dashboard, and click Share.

Step 2: Click the Download tab, and Download Flipbook.

Step 3: You will get a FLIP file you can then attach to the email.

Step 4 (Optional): In case your audience doesn't have the flipbook application installed to open the file yet, you can copy the link to download the reader app and add it as a small note in the same email.
